Oscar and Robelyn Engagement

I met Oscar in this site last January. I was supposed to delete my account here when I got his letter. I responded to it and later we developed our relationship. I am from Philippines and he is from Michigan, USA. Oscar and I are sitting here and we are writing this together.

I really thought this site didn't work, but I was wrong. Then I recieved a smile from Oscar, and things changed. Even though we are from two different cultures and a big age gap we have not found them to be obstacles. We both experienced failures in the past in this site, but things were different this time.

We fell in love with each other and he asked to come and see me. And on April 14, 2005 he arrived here in Cebu City, Philippines. While he was here in Cebu on May 3, 2005 he asked me to marry me(Robelyn). I accepted and we plan to marry after I finish school next year. No final date is set at this time. When we have a final date we will let you know in the future. And now I'm glad I did not delete my account earlier on CSD. We had been praying for sometime before we met for certain things in a mate and we believe that we have found them in each other. We found that prayer was a big part in finding each other.
