Oh how my heart aches for this litle bundle of God's created being, and yes He is able to bring complete health to this child. He is able -- we aren't but He is, Praise the Lord. God bless you Mary Colleen
Woodward with His mighty hand.

Many thanks for your prayers. I am getting more information from my sister. Mary Colleen (Molly) was operated on February 29 and 8 inches of her Large Intestine were removed. She undoubtedly will have restrictions on her diet for the rest of her life. The larger issue is that Intestinal Atresia often comes with other severe complications. I have looked at pictures of Molly and I do not see evidence of Down's Syndrome. I will update this thread as I learn more. God Bless you all and thanks again for your prayers.

I awakened this morning with a heavy heart, as this has been a year filled with so much stress, and I am of the complete realization that I am still 'holding on' - not giving it ALL to Him. When I read this prayer request about Baby Mary, tears started flowing. And as I was asking God to please be with her and her family, I was thanking Him for redirecting my focus off of myself. This precious little baby touched my heart this morning, and I want to not only lift her up, but give a heartfelt thanks to God for showing me once again what is most important. God be with Mary Colleen Woodard and all who know her and love her. She is without a doubt in this woman's prayers!

My sister's step daughter gave birth on February 29 a month premature. Unfortunately the little girl may have been born with an intestinal disorder (Intestinal Atresia) and possibly worse complications such as Down's Syndrome as well. She has been taken out of surgery at the close of her second day on earth and is now on a respirator. It doesn't help that her maternal grandmother died of liver cancer. Please pray that the baby, Mary Colleen Woodward, will be able to live a normal and productive life.
