Dear Frustrated,
First of all I don't think that eating meat or not eating meat will gain one friends, cause one to loose friends and most of all get any of us not matter what denomination in or out of heaven. Not everyone has the same ideals or views. As far as not being talked to by anyone, well people come to this site and I'm sure others for different reasons, some really want friends, others relationships and then there are those seeking opportunities they can take. As a woman I've found that a lot of males seek christian sites because they know christian women are seeking christian men. At your age, I'm sure you've seen much here and there and might not be alone in your thinking that you are alone. If no one talks, try reaching out more, to different people outside your own race and religion in attempting to pick up new friends.

Dear frustrated,
I am so sorry you are feeling frustrated. Many members take a proactive stance on this site and get involved. They offer prayers for others in the prayer forum, they participate in the chat rooms, they send out hellos to new members, they send out happy birthdays to members, they participate in the forums.
You've heard about once you take your mind off your needs and help with the needs of others that you feel better... You might try it and see. Many in our chat room have met one another as friends and then the friendship blossoms into a relationship. Several in our chat room are married or in a relationship, but they have made so many friends that they don't want to delete their accounts. They come here each evening or several times a week to check in with their friends made. So I would encourage you to get involved in the chat room.
Many women also believe they don't need to search and say hello. But that isn't true. Men hate rejection just as much as men. Search for those of interest, find something you like about their profile, and comment on it. Ask them a question. Be careful not to come off as serious too soon or needy, as this is a turn off to both genders. But just talk to them as a friend and see if anything blossoms.
I'll pray that you'll feel less frustrated and God will lead you into His plans for you.

I am not going to tell you who I am, but I sure do feel frustrated in this system! I am a vegetarian, but I am not a real Seventh Day Adventist now, so they won't accept me, but it seems like every other Christian must craves to eat meat so they won't accept me either! And I am feeling like nobody likes me, everybody hates me and maybe I will go eat worms--and that is part of a poem that my Dad used to tell me when I was feeling sorry of myself when I was about 4 years old! I was in here for a long time a couple of years ago and almost NOBODY talked with me then or now either! --I don't even see that anybody is looking at me in here even! And do you know what that feels like? I am a failure! Will I ever fit anywhere? I want to have a man to love again so bad that I sure would love to scream!! But I won't let myself do that with so many people around! Will it feel good to scream since nobody in heret could actually hear me? Doubt it. But I am going to try! I really am a very sweet person! And now I am going to actually send this on! ---from a very rightous 58 year old lady
